In cases where CBSD heartbeat exchanges are unsuccessful and the Transmit Expiry Timer has expired, the CBSD state reverts to GRANTED but the CBSD grant is still valid for up to seven days. The Transmit Expiry Timer for heartbeats does not have any grace period. If the Grants are not renewed past the seven day period, the grants will be terminated and the CBSD will have to request new grants.
